Watching His Mouth

On Stand-by - a companion piece to Watching His Mouth

What Friends are For - a two-piece Christmas Tale

Christmas Pudding for Two

Half a Loaf Each

Getting things straight (in a bent sort of way) - a piece of fluff I wrote for Valentine's Day 2001.

Spring-heeled Jack

The Sad History of Beautiful Billy Bodie - one upon a time, a certain author (not otherwise represented here) published a story which actually had the title "Beautiful Bodie". It featured the former mercenary and sergeant in the SAS as a much-abused, fragile soul and Cowley as his father. This was supposed to be the first in a series which never got written, to the relief of many I might add. However, in response to a number of pleas for a resolution to this tragic history we have this. Enjoy!

At the Admiral Nelson - I always had a fondness for this one, which no one else seems to share.

Awake

Asking - I never thought this one worked entirely, but I had to give up fiddling with the damn thing.

The Acorn Syndrome - No, it has nothing to do with the episode - it's a pun, OK? An Old Lads story for those of us who like such things.

Cards

Cards on the Table - Part One

Carts on the Table - Part Two

Night Fever - originally written to accompany an excellent illustration by Suzanne Lovatt, I think it just about stands on its own.
